You asked for it...you got it!

Look who got to come home last night!

Yep! She checked out fine and they let us go! Can you believe they just let you walk out of a hospital with these little ones :) Last night was pretty good...she still has her days and nights mixed up but I'm sure she'll get it figured out...and it's worth it...well...at least that's what I kept telling myself last night :) Nothing too new with us though...she's doing really well and she's already a strong little thing...holding her head up to look around a little. But I'll quit boring you now and just give you some pictures...because...you asked for it :)

Okay...I know this is a hospital picture but I had to include it because it proves that she does have eyes...and she does open them sometimes...and it usually is at night :) Plus...this picture is way too cute :)

Getting a little sun rays at home...looks like we got a bathing beauty on our hands :)

Jon's already got her reading all the finest material out there...or in his opinion...he's starting her out young...he doesn't realize that she's going to be a girlie girl :)

I think the hat says it all!

Great news!

I do remember those firsts: buckling into the car seat and the scariest drive you've ever had (until they're 15 with a learners' permit).

The best advice now is "Sleep when the baby is sleeping" You'll probably want to rush around and get a bunch of things done but maybe you'll be better than me at learning to let go of some of those less important things and focus on your (and therefore Natalee's) well being.

Absolutely precious!! Congratultions! A tip to help her learn her days from nights: wake her for feedings every three hours during the day. My youngest had the same problem and my nurse suggested this and it worked within a couple of days!

What a doll baby!! Love love love the pictures! :) Thanks so much for sharing. Everyone's giving you lots of great advice so far. I also would recommend reading "Baby Wise" if you haven't already. It's a big help with getting babies on a schedule right from the beginning. Have a "restful" week!! :)

Congratulations Ali and Jon! She is beautiful! Something about her actually reminds me of a picture I had seen of Emmalee. Glad you guys are all home together and that things are going well. Is everything finalized now or should I continue to pray?

Madeline had her days & nights mixed up, too, when she was that age. It was rough to say the least! We tried so hard to keep her awake during the day by stripping clothes off and playing with her but it really didn't work. It's pretty much up to the babe to decide when she wants to wake up!

Hi Ali, John and Natalee~
Congratulations to all three of you for finding each other! Your mobile has changed and will jangle around a bit for a while, but soon enough you will find synchronicity and ease maybe, too. Be patient. And, find gratitude; it will save your sanity a million times.

Love.
